Une nouvelle saison ~ A New Season

Nous avons resté occupés cet hiver en préparation pour cette saison. Vous devriez voir le nouveau balcon sur la grange, tout les beaux ont été sorti du bois cette hiver, couper par Philippe et la tout assemblé par Phil et Elwood avec de l'aide de quelques collègues et amis.

Ouverture le 24 avril pour Jour de la Terre
Nous allons ouvrir officiellement le 24 avril avec des célébrations pour la Jour de la Terre. Venez chercher votre composte pour l'année, qui sera en vente pa les Scouts de Notre-Dame-de-l'Ile-Perrot. Le composte a été fait ici à la ferme avec des feuilles ramassé des résidents dans la région. Nous allons offrir des randonnées interprétées qui vont partir sur l'heure de 10h00 à 14h00. Aussi des démonstrations de taille dans le verger à 10h30 et 13h30.


Ville de Mont Royal présentation
Elwood a été invité pour fiare une présentation sur l'horticulture et l'agriculture au centre communautaire de la Ville Mont Royale le 4 mai. SVP nous appeler pour plus d'information.







We've been working hard over the winter getting everything ready for this season. You'll have to stop by and see the new balcony on the front of the barn, all of the wood was taken from the bush this winter, sawn up by Phil and assembled by Phil and Elwood and a few employees and friends.

Opening April 24th for Earth Day
We're officially opening for the season on April 24th with Earth Day celebrations. Come and get your compost, being sold by the Scouts of Notre-Dame-de-l'Ile-Perrot. The compost is made from leaves collected from the residents in the area. We will be giving interpretive tours of the farm by wagon ride, leaving on the hour from 10:00 to 2:00. We will also be doing pruning demonstrations, one at 10:30 and a second at 1:30.



Town of Mount Royal presentation
Elwood will be speaking about horticulture and agriculture at the Town of Mount Royal community center on May 4th. Please call us for more information.
